- 964 Allen Bradley, Old English White 1957 MG Magnette, Harahan, LA. Lost a hubcap while driving across the Causeway and it flew over the railing into Lake Pontchatrain. Then the generator went out before the end of the bridge. Allen worked until 10:30 PM the night before the festival finding and installing a working generator.

- Best Design (This award is decided by the Race Coordinator and given to the best-LOOKING racer): Paul Tellarico from Alexandria, LA’s Valve Cover Racer was declared the “coolest” one entered.
